Question 23: A medicine capsule is in the shape of a cylinder with a hemisphere attached to each end. The length of the entire capsule is 14 mm and its diameter is 5 mm. Find its surface area. (4)

A hemisphere is placed on top of a cubical block of side 7 cm. What can be the maximum diameter of the hemisphere? Find the surface area of the solid so formed.
